Bring your devices into Otomatic.
Otomatic Connector runs locally, pairs with Otomatic, and imports completed results from supported clinical devices for review and assignment in Result imports.
Choose your platform
Download the connector for the operating system on your clinic workstation.
Otomatic Connector is provided by VitaScribe Inc.. Otomatic was formerly VitaScribe, so installer filenames, publisher details, and some installation screens still use the VitaScribe name.
Download buttons take you to our official GitHub release to download the installer. Installing the connector is optional and is only needed to connect supported clinical devices; it is not required to use the Otomatic web app.

Compatibility
Built around the devices your clinic already uses.
Support is adapter-based, so new device families can be added without changing your Otomatic workflow.
We only label a device as supported after its protocol and result payload have been validated.
First device in validation
R07A
Pure-tone audiometry results
The first device profile uses the shared Resonance PC protocol. Clinic availability will begin only after physical-device validation is complete.
Expanding compatibility
The connector architecture is ready for additional validated profiles across these categories:
- Resonance audiometers
- Tympanometers
- OAE devices
- Combo devices
- NOAH / OtoAccess
- GDT / HL7 / FHIR
These integrations are in validation or planned. If your device is not listed, contact support before installing.
Installation
Install once. Keep your clinic moving.
Download
Choose the installer for your clinic workstation.
Install
Install Otomatic Connector. Some installer screens use the former VitaScribe name. Keep the connector running while importing device results.
Pair and import
Open Result imports in Otomatic. If Chrome asks to connect to apps on this device, choose Allow. Then pair the connector, detect your device, and import completed results.
Chrome cannot connect to the connector?
First, make sure Otomatic Connector is open. In the Chrome tab showing the Otomatic web app, click the site controls icon beside the address bar and allow Apps on device. Some Chrome versions call this Local network access. Return to Result imports and select Check again.
This lets the web app communicate with the connector on your computer. It is separate from microphone permission and does not install a USB driver.
Chrome site-permission instructionsWhat the connector accesses
The connector communicates with supported devices attached to your workstation. You pair it with your Otomatic browser session using a code shown in the connector before importing clinical results.
The connector includes automatic updates and diagnostic monitoring. See our privacy policy for information about data handling, and contact support for installation or removal help.
If your browser or operating system blocks the installer, stop and contact support with the warning text. Do not disable security protection to install it.
